TINTING

Tinting uses a vegetable based dye and a low percentage developer to change the color or either the eyebrows or eyelashes.  Altar uses Hair Pearl tint in house to custom blend colors. Tinting will not damage or negatively effect the brows or lashes.

Tint is considered to be a semi or demi permanent color system- which means it will gradually fade away and return to your natural color with regular face washing.  You will not experience a grow out line or “roots” from a tint. For more info on tinting please email info@altarwaxstudio.com

FOR BEST RESULTS:
For consistency tinting should be performed every 3½ to 4 weeks.

Lash tinting clients should avoid wearing mascara when coming in for their appointments. 

Even after removal, mascara can leave a residue that will hinder the tint's effectiveness and shorten its lifespan. 

Brow tinting is meant to treat the hair of the brow – not to stain the skin below. If you are attempting to create a fuller brow by staining the skin under the brow, know that the color on the skin will only last one or two days.

If you are experiencing sensitive eyes, allergies, an active eye infection or scratched cornea should not receive a lash tint. 

Clients with eyelash extensions should not receive a lash tint.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • 24 hours for waxing lash lifting and tinting.

  • 48 hours for microblading.

  • Any missed or cancelled appointments within the policy guidelines will be charged full price. Recurring no shows or late cancelled appointments may result in restrictions on future bookings.
