MICROBLADING

Microblading is a semi-permanent form of brow tattoo that uses a series of micro needles to create “feather strokes” which emulate individual hairs. A non-mechanical hand piece is used to place the pigment on the 5th layer of the epidermis (the outer layer) of the skin. This ensures that the pigment will fade over time and gives the flexibility to change the shape and color of the brows.

Microblading can (depending on the individual) last anywhere from 1½ to 3 years. Altar uses Everlasting Brows pigment and blades in house. For more info or to book, please email info@altarwaxstudio.com

First session $555 / 2 hours
Second session $255 / 1 hour 20 mins
Yearly touch up $355 / 1 hour 20 mins

FOR BEST RESULTS:
Initial microblading requires two sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart. 

The first session is 2 hours and consists of mapping, color matching and a lengthy consultation.

The second session is 1½ hours and is used for perfecting the shape, color and addressing any fall out that can occur during the healing process.

The healing process is lengthy and needs to be followed to the letter to ensure the best results. 

Clients interested in microblading should schedule during a time when they will not be exposed to water, excessive sun, heat and/or humidity. 

Touch ups are only for returning microblading guests. Touch up sessions are 1½ hours long and should be performed once a year or every other year. 

Fall, Winter & Spring are the best times of year for microblading. 

To ensure best results Altar does not perform microblading between the months of June–September. 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • 24 hours for waxing lash lifting and tinting.

  • 48 hours for microblading.

  • Any missed or cancelled appointments within the policy guidelines will be charged full price. Recurring no shows or late cancelled appointments may result in restrictions on future bookings.
